This learning resource replicates Sir George Caley's model glider from 1803. Exact size, but this model uses depron and balsa which were both unavailable in 1803. Comes with history resources that reveal why Caley is viewed as the father of flight. All instructions and parts included exept the glue.
Glider will fly the length of a sports hall when the tail, which acts as elevator and rudder is correctly trimmed. Throwing and catching this slow moving glider can be run as team challenge.

The sailing event to celebrate this iconic ship would have normally been part of the Bristol Harbour Festival in July 2020. Due to Covid19 we are waiting until it is safe to do this. Hopefully in September /October.
